Education and practical experience should help the whole industry improve.
Our roots. Our responsibility.
Education, shared knowledge and support for the cannabis community. The starting point for H&C, and the principles we carry into every engagement.

GROW TOGETHER.
Where we come from
We respect the people who carried the risk and kept cultivation knowledge alive before a formal industry existed.
We also recognise the people building the medicinal industry from within: the teams on the floor, the operators, the quality staff and the professionals taking responsibility for what comes next.
H&C connects that culture with the operational, medical and commercial responsibilities of the industry today. We support farms and businesses driven by passion and personal stories, with a focus on quality, people and lasting relationships.
Founder Remi-Dean Ryan’s experience spans cultivation, post-harvest, quality systems, pharmacy operations and commercial relationships. That wider perspective helps us see how the pieces connect, agree a practical scope and bring in the right people.
What guides us
Education and practical experience should help the whole industry improve.
The people, stories and culture behind the plant belong in its future.
A legacy lives in the people we support and what we help build together.
“Our competition is who we were yesterday.”
The people behind the work
Complementary experience across cultivation, genetics, post-harvest, quality and commercial relationships. A shared respect for the culture behind the plant.
Remi-Dean Ryan is the CEO and Founder of Hustle & Cultivate, bringing extensive hands-on experience across cultivation, post-harvest, production, quality systems, compliance, distribution and dispensary operations. He founded H&C to connect the knowledge, culture and craft of cannabis with the operational discipline and professional relationships needed to build stronger, more sustainable businesses.
Remi’s career began as a defoliation technician before progressing through post-harvest technician, post-harvest leadership, dispensary operations, stock control and ordering, production supervision, controlled-substances quality assurance, distribution management and senior post-harvest and QA management. Along the way, he developed experience in cannabis education, compliance, staff leadership, business development, sales and operational strategy.
At H&C, Remi leads strategic partnerships and client relationships, bringing together cultivation, quality, sourcing, brand development and commercial support. His approach is grounded in clear communication, practical systems and a genuine respect for the people behind the work.
A self-made entrepreneur, Remi has also co-owned an events business in the Illawarra and an independent music label in Sydney. He studied at the Australian Institute of Music and Charles Sturt University, experiences that have strengthened his understanding of creativity, culture, communication and business.
Remi is driven by a commitment to helping people and businesses reach their potential while supporting a cannabis industry built on quality, integrity, education and community. He believes the future of cannabis depends on preserving its culture and craftsmanship, valuing the complete experience of the plant and creating meaningful connections that extend beyond commercial outcomes.
